I'm going to try to jump back into this blog thing. Every time I start I set unattainable goals for myself. I've decided to try to blog just twice a week instead. I wish I would have been doing more this year. I have the most amazing class. They are so much fun and ready to learn. I love the fact that this class doesn't have to be in complete silence to get things accomplished. They are able to maintain a healthy noise level and complete tasks on time. It amazes me the difference between the beginning of the year and the middle of they year.
I just received a student teacher. She has only been there two days and the kids are already falling in love with her. She seems to be enjoying this age. I'm excited about the things we are going to be able to do in the classroom. An extra set of hands opens all kinds of possibilities. :)
We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday this week. Target sent a representative to read to our class.
He did the most amazing job. His voice sounded just like Dr. Seuss! The kids were mesmerized.
